How to Connect Github to Cpanel usign FTP

 

Its very difficult to upload your project on cpanel and github at the same time. Here is the solution for you.

To connect GitHub to cPanel using FTP, you'll need to follow these general steps:

       1: Set up an FTP account in cPanel:

    • Log in to your cPanel account provided by your hosting provider.
    • Navigate to the "Files" section and look for the "FTP Accounts" option.
    • Create a new FTP account by providing a username and password. Choose a directory to which the account will have access.
    • Click on "Create FTP Account" to complete the setup.
      Note: make sure your path is ok before submit.

      2: Download .github.zip file

    • Unzip .github.zip file and paste .github folder in your project root directory.
    • Open .github->workflows->deployCPanel.yml file and paste your ftp details in below section and save this file.
      server: ftp.itlifee.net
      username: gitsample@itlifee.net
      password: 55sdfffffdGUx
       

      3: open bigbash in your project and pust the files to github as well as cpanel.

    • git init
    • git add .
    • git commit -m "Update"
    • git push -u origin master
